FurNature

FurNature seeks to challenge the boring, linear, boulevard approach Australian Councils take towards Park layouts and Park Furniture. Taking influence from the Eastern gardens, FurNature provides a platform that encourages an emotional connection to nature through a sensory experience.
This sensory experience is allowed by simulating the feeling of floatation, providing the user with unlimited potential. FurNature’s form is open and reactive, allowing the users to experience all that the natural parklands have to offer as well as interacting with the fellow public. The project as a whole intends to reconnect a society back to the natural environment thaT has been so important to us throughout history, yet lost in recent times due to the fast-paced urban society we reside in.
