Automated Care Management System
This project tackles the inevitable ageing crisis facing the Australian population. Through a review of previous studies and primary research within the field, the project has exposed potential aged care quality gaps.
The project attempts to provide design solutions through the development of an automated
care management system (ACMS) which seeks to improve quality of care by improving the working conditions of registered nurses and personal care assistants working within the sector.
ACMS achieves this goal through task management and workload allocation while also tracking and identifying potential risks before they happen.
With these improvements, ACMS hopes to provide a platform for automated quality of care to become a standard amongst all aged care facilities, ensuring that the minimum standards of care will always be met.
